JOB POSTING NAN 001: Reservation Agent
LOCATION: Nanaimo, B.C.
SHIFT: 5 X 8 hour shifts and will include some weekends
TERM: Full-Time, Permanent
WAGE: Starting at $23.00/hr

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Respond promptly to incoming calls and emails related to flight reservations and travel enquiries
- Assist guests with flight changes, cancellations, and upgrades
- Provide detailed and accurate information on our schedules and fare tiers, including policies and rates
- Provide empathetic, friendly and professional customer support during each interaction
- Resolve booking resolutions to ensure guest satisfaction
- Accurately communicate up to date information, including flight schedules, operational changes and delays.
- Offer additional travel related assistance such as directions, parking information, car rental options and accommodation recommendations.
- Other duties as required
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal communication skills, including clarity, professionalism and customer engagement
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail
- Previous experience handling high volume, multi-line telephone systems in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a customer service role (minimum 3 years required)
- Previous experience in the airline industry or tourism and travel industries is an asset
- Geographical knowledge of BC’s West Coast is an asset
